UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

All 17 Sustainable Development Goals directly or indirectly involve our development, manufacture and sales to customers all over the world. It is therefore natural that dantoy works to implement the goals in the company.

All of the sustainable development goals are equally important. This is why we have reviewed them and taken a position in respect to them. To begin with,we have chosen to focus on a selection of sustainable development goals. Working within all 17 sustainable development goals will be an ongoing process for dantoy.

dantoy objectives

dantoy aims to ensure that 99% of our raw materials, master batches and additives must be made without the use of damaging chemicals and must have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

In regard to the majority of its products, through collaboration with Ecolabelling Denmark, dantoy ensures that it takes the entire product lifecycle into consideration.

In this way, at dantoy, we take responsibility for raw materials, consumption and production for the benefit of the health and well-being of people at workplaces around the world, for children who play with toys that have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and also for the benefit of the environment, both on land and in the sea.

Our goal is that by 2025, 90 % of our plastic waste can be recycled internally at dantoy.

dantoy grinds and reuses a large part of the company’s plastic waste today – primarily as a mix for ‘black’ plastic.
We will continue to develop our recycling so that recycling plastic will have greater value.

At dantoy, we will retain our employees and our goal is to have a high level of seniority, among other things, through initiatives for health and well-being for our employees. We will maintain focus on the physical working environment, have an active staff association and provide all of our employees with health insurance.

Focus at dantoy

dantoy works to find and recycle sustainable materials.

Through the development of the use of, among other things, “new” types of raw materials such as bioplastic (its manufacture based on sugar cane) and by ensuring the recycling of all of our plastic waste, dantoy leads from the front and ensures sustainability and a circular economy.

We are working to reduce our footprint in nature. We are working to reduce our footprint in nature. One of our initiatives is to significantly reduce the amount of waste by recycling our plastic and paper packaging. This work is also carried out through our partners who include Aage Vestergaard Larsen and Stena Recycling, helping us to ensure the majority of dantoy’s waste is recycled.
